Privacy policy
This policy explains how Qmona AG handles personal data when you visit this website. We keep data collection to the minimum required to operate the site.
1. Controller
Email: info@qmonaventures.com
2. Applicable law
We process personal data in accordance with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/revDSG). Where visitors are located in the EU/EEA, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) may also apply.
3. Data we process
This is a static informational website. We do not run accounts, forms or advertising tracking. Personal data arises in three places:
- Server log data. When you load the site, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of access, in order to deliver the site and maintain security.
- Web fonts. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. This transmits your IP address to Google servers, which may be located outside Switzerland. See section 5.
- Email contact. If you email us, we process the data you provide (name, email address, message content) to respond to your enquiry.
4. Purposes and legal basis
We process this data to operate and secure the website and to respond to enquiries. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a functioning, secure website and in communicating with interested parties.
5. Third-party providers
We rely on the following providers, who process data on our behalf or as independent controllers:
- Hosting / content delivery: our website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, USA. Cloudflare processes server log data as described above on servers that may be located outside Switzerland, including in the United States. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the Swiss–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the Swiss Federal Council recognises as providing adequate data protection.
- Google Fonts (Google Ireland/LLC): used to display typefaces. Google may receive your IP address. This can involve a data transfer to the United States. Google LLC is certified under the Swiss–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the Swiss Federal Council recognises as providing adequate data protection.
6. Cookies
This website does not set tracking or marketing cookies. Only technically essential data required to deliver the site is processed.
7. Retention
Server log data is retained only as long as necessary for operation and security. Email correspondence is retained as long as needed to handle your enquiry and to meet any legal retention obligations.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify or delete your personal data, to restrict its processing, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address in section 1. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Switzerland: the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, FDPIC).
9. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or the law. The current version is always available on this page.
